:: What does my resort need this product?
Snowboarding is big business, especially for the ski resort. According to the NSAA
(National Ski Areas Assoc), during the 2002/2003 season snowboarders accounted for
over 48% of all winter sports participation, and about 1/3 of all lift ticket sales. Your ability to
attract and retain this substantial demographic can make the difference
between huge profits, or losses. 15 years ago most resorts banned snowboarding,
yet today, only a handful of "skiing purist" resorts remain. The
reason is because snowboarding means a lot of money for the resort.
The SnoRhino is something new that you can use to differentiate yourself from
your competition. Everyone already has a terrain park (sometimes several), a halfpipe,
rails, etc. With the exception of SnoRhino customers, no one has chair lifts that
are comfortable for snowboarders.
What will impress your snowboarders more? Adding one extra rail or jump, or outfitting
an entire liftline with snowboard friendly footrests to make them comfortable. Extra
jumps or rails might go unnoticed and unappreciate, but snowboard footrests are something
your customers will immediately notice and enjoy. Not every snowboarder ventures into
the terrain park, but everyone can enjoy comfortable lifts.

So what great lengths has your resort gone to attract snowboarders? You have probably
already spent a substantial amount of cash, just to do what everyone else is already
doing:
While we definitely recommend purchasing specialized grooming equipment for terrain parks
and half pipes, as well as rails for your terrain parks, we also suggest you seriously
consider upgrading your chairlifts to properly accommodate snowboarders. Try something
creative this season, and outfit your lifts with the SnoRhino. Your snowboarders will
appreciate your investment.
