:: Snow-what? What the heck is a SnoRhino?!?

The SnoRhino is essentially a snowboard footrest designed to allow snowboarders to be comfortable while riding ski lift chairs. It is extremely durable, yet extremely light. It will not scratch a snowboard, but can take physical and environmental abuse. Its special ultra high-density composite material is engineered to never break, not even at 40 below. It will make your snowboarders comfortable for the first time in their lives when they ride your chair lifts, and make them want to return to your resort again and again.

How Does the SnoRhino Work?

As you are undoubtedly aware: ski lifts were never intended to carry snowboarders. Although ski chair footrests are perfect for making skiiers comfortable on their journey to the peak, the lack of a snowboard specific footrest causes extreme discomfort for anyone riding a snowboard. The SnoRhino is a clamp-on footrest specifically for snowboards to rest on. It not only keeps snowboards from dangling and straining the knee and ankle, but it also keeps them safely out of the way of skiers.

Accommodates all combinations of skiers and boarders

The SnoRhino not only provides additional comfort for a snowboarder, but the product is at it's best when you throw a mix of skiers and snowboarders onto the lift chair. The SnoRhino is designed to be as unobtrusive and skier friendly as the footrest itself. Part of our engineering design team was comprised of skiers, and we have made it our goal from day one to make sure skiers would benefit from the SnoRhino just as much as the snowboarders would.

Another way to use the SnoRhino is to hook the back heal clip of your binding on the SnoRhino. It's very easy to get in and out, and won't get stuck. Best of all, the weight of your snowboard is taken off of your knee and put on the SnoRhino. The skis go over top of the Snowboard in this configuration.
